The first period saw Bradley Fraser and Ethan Montroy score for Cornwall, while Travis Ouellette netted one for Smiths Falls. In the second period, Finnegan Kilmurray tied it up for Smiths Falls. Cornwall regained the lead in the third with another goal from Fraser, but Quinn Booth leveled the score again for Smiths Falls. The game went into overtime, where Trevor Faucher secured the victory for Smiths Falls. Goaltenders Dawson Labre of Smiths Falls and Xander Miceli of Cornwall showcased their skills with 24 and 25 saves.
